Chamber Partners Taskforce
 Matt Slovick, Chairperson, AFLAC
 2nd Wednesday of the month (8:30 AM)
Serves as a liaison to new members, orienting them to Chamber activities, events and committees, and develops outreach programs to recognize existing members. Develops and implements strategic membership development plan, including sector analysis, benefits match, and prospect identification, and supports the chamber’s retention efforts.
CEO Roundtable
Lee Crumbaugh, Group Leader, Forrest Consulting
2nd Friday of the month (8:30 AM) | $125 Per Member
The CEO Roundtable provides a venue for Owners, Partners, and CEOs to meet monthly with their peers in an atmosphere that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and encourages individuals in accomplishing their goals.  
The program is designed to provide participants with their own confidential "board of advisors" who can assist with business challenges by presenting solutions for discussion.

IDEA Committee (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Awareness)

The IDEA Committee discusses topics, solutions and programming in the areas of Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Awareness. IDEA promotes training and events to bring awareness to DE&I in the workplace, engaging co-workers in these conversation, and reviewing and developing policies and procedures that will promote workplace DE&I.
Health & Wellness Advisory Council (HWAC)
Meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 2-3 pm
A healthy workforce is key to a thriving business community. The Central Maryland Chamber proudly launches our new Health & Wellness Advisory Council, dedicated to workplace and community wellness to improve health, productivity, and financial success.
Our Mission
  • Provide businesses with valuable health and wellness resources
  • Support workplace wellness programs to enhance employee well-being
  • Convene industry leaders monthly to discuss trends and opportunities
  • Promote wellness services, events, and organizations in Central Maryland
Military Affairs Advisory Council
Recipient of 2020 Army Partnership Award

Plans events in support of the personnel and families at Ft. Meade in an effort to build a stronger connection between the local business community and the Fort.

Regional Economic Development Committee (rEDC)

Small Business Committee

To promote and support the businesses of the Chamber’s small business members by developing initiatives and providing:
  • programs designed to increase consumer recognition and patronization of their businesses,
  • education regarding small business practices, and
  • opportunities for small businesses to interact with each other, larger Chamber members, and the public.​
Women's Leadership Roundtable

4th Monday of the month (3 PM)
Inclusive group of Executive and Director -level female leaders focused on connecting business professionals throughout Central Maryland. Similar to the CMC’s CEO Roundtable- the group will share challenges and new ideas and discuss ways to take their business to the next level. ​
